KL Midtown Project is one of the developments within the KL Metropolis master plan which spans 75.7 acres of land strategically located by the prestigious township of Damansara Heights, Sri Hartamas, Mont Kiara & Bangsar. It is owned by Naza Group and Hap Seng Consolidated Berhad and consists office building, hotel, business podium and service apartments. The Hyatt Regency Kuala Lumpur Hotel is part of the development components for the KL Midtown Project.
Upon being awarded the contract as the main contractor, Infra Segi Sdn. Bhd. appointed PPM to cover planning works, progress monitoring, reporting, risk management, contract management, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and GreenRE related compilation.
KL Midtown Project is a project with BIM and GreenRE requirements. BIM will not benefit the project team unless one understands the BIM process. BIM process at construction stage involves massive information managing and multi-discipline engineering design coordination work which create synergy towards success project execution when go in line with our project planning work. GreenRE rated building is just paperwork unless the project team executes and meets the green building requirements correctly. The project team requires right specialist in the right place and time, leading the team to create the true value from BIM and GreenRE requirements.
PPM helped the client to fill the technical gap by going beyond the comfort zone of normal project planner work scope and support them with the required expertise to ensure a seamless and smooth project execution.
