Site Supervisor/Manager (Sarawak, Malaysia)
Job Description
We are looking for two clerk of works - one C&S and one M&E - to work on a major project in central Sarawak as soon as possible.

Job duties:
  • Under the general direction of responsible project manager or designated supervisor, coordinate and monitor all phases of building construction at the work site 
  • Coordinate, monitor and inspect work of construction contractor for assigned projects
  • Review contract documents, drawings and specifications in order to maintain familiarity with assigned projects and insure construction contractor's full understanding of documents.
  • Review contractor shop drawings and provide comments on conformance/non-conformance.
  • Conduct on-site observation and spot-checks of work in progress.
  • Ensure contract compliance by the contractor, such as conducting tests specified in contract and installing materials/equipment as specified in contract, and report deficiencies to project manager and contractor.
  • Provide reports on all on-site matters, including third-party inspections, progress, safety concerns, and causes for delay.
  • Maintain job-site files, documents, reports and daily log; prepare periodic reports as required.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Having a diploma qualification will be an advantage but is not mandatory
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years’ of site experience
Special skills/Knowledge
  • Fluent in English and Malay
  • Working knowledge of Mandarin will be advantageous 
  • Computer literate, with working knowledge of Microsoft office
