Project Control Manager (Sarawak)

We are looking for a Project Control Manager to join our growing team.  Preferably the successful candidate will have experience in project controls.

Key Roles

• Assuring consistency among the Project Baseline & plans of each discipline.
• Organize a Project Control Team to implement Project Control activities.
• Develop and maintain project schedule in alignments with industry best practices.
• Gather project schedule information and data from project managers and other stakeholders to ensure project schedules are complete and support project completion to plan.
• Provide guidance to project managers with regard to issues related to project schedules.
• Measure and track progress to activities and milestones
• Attend and participate in project status meetings.

Requirements

• Willing to be based at project site and work outside of office hours when required
• Able to take responsibility for own works and work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to think of the big picture and pay attention to details at the same time

• Have strong organisational, critical thinking and analytical skills
• Confident in communicating with and presenting to different audiences, including clients
• Proactive in communicating with clients, stakeholders and teammates and in obtaining project information and data from the relevant parties 
• Able to work well with other team members

Skills and qualifications

• Proficiency in Primavera P6
• A degree in engineering/project management, though graduates from other disciplines will also be considered if they have the relevant industry experience
• Fluency in English is compulsory; fluency in Mandarin Chinese and Malay preferred
• High competency in Microsoft Office products, in particular Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Experience

• Minimum five (5) years experience as Project Control Manager, and overall 10 years working experience in Project Planning & Control.
